3 days before Christmas and we've received gifts from friends already.
Someone gave us this Goya Orange Peel chocolate. It's a simple gift yet I was touched by the fact that they thought of us in this season.
At first, it's weird to feel the orange peel bits. But you'll get used to it. The combination of dark chocolate and orange peel is surprisingly delicious.
My sister rented a drink bar with the help of her office mates on her birthday last week. I took the rare opportunity to taste margarita and other drinks.
The jelly is new to me so I tasted it first. Theres a bit bitterness but It's good. The gin strawberry tastes like medicine. I like the Gin mango. The apple flavor tastes just like a punch. And the green one is yakult flavor. I didn't like it. My favorite is the margarita. It's the sweetest margarita I've tasted.
Btw, I shared these drinks with hubby (just a bite of the jelly) and my brother in law.
I found this interesting recipe from Vhen. I just added an ingredient - bell pepper - to satisfy my tastebuds.
Ingredients:
Butter
Garlic and onion, chopped
Beef stroganoff, tenderloin tips or breakfast beef (readily sliced in grocery stores)
Button mushrooms
Broccoli
1 can Cream of mushroom
Bell pepper
Salt and pepper
1. Sauté garlic and onion in butter.
2. Add the beef and wait til the beef is tender. Put a little pepper.
3. Add the mushrooms and broccoli
4. When the veggies are cooked, put the cream of mushroom.
5. Add the bell peppers and simmer.
6. Put some pepper and salt according to your taste
I imagined you may choose red bell peppers and this could be a great addition to your Christmas menu. Ehe!
Angry birds are ubiquitous right now. Anywhere I look, people are wearing angry birds shirts and items like bags, slippers, etc. are being sold everywhere. And now there's even comics. I also found a website selling angry bird pigs' cookbooks, haha!
I don't know how this site got into my iPad. It's the kids most probably.
The pigs are really funny. I might look forward for more.
Hubby commented that I've forgotten about my blogs. Heehee :D These simulation games are really addictive. But I found out that I can close my shops by moving a chair or the magazine rack behind the door. I do this when I can't tend my shops for a while. Or when my food are still cooking.
My bakery is now serving croissant, latte, sugar cookies, and camomile tea. The croissant, latte and tea were given to me as a gift by online friends.
Serving in my resto are pepperoni pizza, chocolate fondue and bagels. bAgels are gifts also.
Haven't been watching tv for weeks. So I was surprised to hear the Megastar singing the Kapatid Network Christmas ID entitled "Krismas Mas Mas Masaya." I've heard she's transferring but I didn't expect it to be this soon. I'm not a Sharonian but I'm just astonished that big stars are now in TV5. There surely must be something there for them.
It's good that tv5 broke away from the usual themes of very dramatic station IDs. And came up with a more upbeat and lively one.
Like in other TV networks, TV5 Christmas ID showcases their talents. It's noticeable that the oldies but goodies local celebrities already transferred to TV5. The names who have been working in TV5 eversince are Ryan Agoncillo, Vic Sotto, Oyo Sotto (wwaahhhh!) Joey de Leon, Dolphy, Tuesday Vargas, Amy Perez, Alex Gonzaga, Ruffa Gutierrez and Richard and Lucy Torres-Gomez among all. And when Willie Revillame's show started picking up, the oldies but goodies local celebs started coming to TV5 as well. Some new but old faces in TV5 now are Paolo Bediones, Aga Muhlach, Dina Bonnevie, Nora Aunor, Edu Manzano, Zoren Legaspi, Tonton Gutierrez, Gelli de Belen, Lorna Tolentino, Gabby Concepcion and as mentioned, Tita Shawie.
On interviews, Derek Ramsey says people are going to see him next year on TV5 after his recovery from injury.
The news broke last Sunday when Anne was spotted wearing the engagement ring. The engagement ring was made by Kwiat Heritage Jewels (whom Shulman collaborated with) who gave the tip-off after Anne was spotted wearing the band.
"I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!" Anne previously told People magazine regarding her relationship with Adam Shulman. The proposal came after three years of being together.
